Rabies is a viral infection affecting the brain and nervous system. The rabies virus typically transmits to humans through animal bites. If not promptly treated, rabies can lead to death.
Benefits of HYPERRAB
HyperRAB is a human rabies immune globulin indicated for postexposure prophylaxis, along with rabies vaccine, for all persons suspected of exposure to rabies.
HYPERRAB administration schedule
HyperRAB is administer at the time of the first vaccine dose (day 0), but no later than day 7.
Composition of HYPERRAB
Active Substance: Rabies Immune Globulin (human), each 1 ml contains 300 IU Rabies immune globuline.
Side effects HYPERRAB
headache; cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat; stomach pain, gas, diarrhea; muscle pain; or. pain, swelling, itching, redness, or a hard lump where the shot was given or anaphylactic.

None
Special Attention to HYPERRAB
Persons who have been previously immunized with rabies vaccine and have a confirmed adequate rabies antibody titer should receive only Vaccine.
