Menquadfi is vaccine used to prevents infection caused by Meningococcal serogroups A, C, W, and Y. Meningococcal infection can cause meningitis (inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord).

Meningococcal infection can cause meningitis, an inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms include fever, severe headache, stiff neck, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light (photophobia), and decreased level of consciousness.

Meningococcal disease can result in death and long-term disabilities, such as hearing loss, brain damage, kidney impairment, limb disorders, and nervous system complications.

Vaccination Schedule for Children
1 dose for children aged 12 months and older

Vaccination Schedule for Adults
1 dose, Valid on the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for 5 years

Vaccination Schedule for the Elderly
1 dose, Valid on the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for 5 years

Composition of MENQUADFI
Each 0.5 ml dose contains:
• Neisseria meningitidis group A polysaccharide: 10 mcg
• Neisseria meningitidis group C polysaccharide: 10 mcg
• Neisseria meningitidis group W polysaccharide: 10 mcg
• Neisseria meningitidis group Y polysaccharide: 10 mcg
• Conjugated to tetanus toxoid carrier protein: 55 mcg

Side effect of MENQUADFI
• Muscle pain
• Joint pain
• Pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site

Contraindication of MENQUADFI
• Hypersensitivity to any vaccine component
• History of severe allergic reaction to a previous meningococcal vaccine
